I am a senior lecturer in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and programme co-coordinator for the MSc in Clinical Epidemiology Masters Programme at Stellenbosch University, Cape Town, South Africa.

Supporting & mentorship

I support and convene various postgraduate masters modules, including for Systematic Reviews and meta-analysis and Clinical Practice Guidelines. I convene various international workshops and short courses, including in evidence synthesis, and guideline development and epidemiology.

I have a keen interest in making teaching and learning engaging and easily accessible for students. I am always interested in mentorship and building excellent health researchers for the major challenges of tomorrow. 

I coordinate or lead the following postgraduate modules or short courses:

  • Clinical Practice Guidelines (MSc Clin Epi)
  • Systematic Reviews and meta-analysis (MSc Clin Epi)
  • Primer in Systematic Reviews (Short course)
  • Global Network Meta-analysis Workshop (Short Course)

Additionally, I contribute to various courses/modules including in epidemiology, randomised controlled trials, biostatistics and evidence synthesis
